So, I’m due to have a blood test on Wednesday, to check my cholesterol and all that stuff. They’re supposed to take 2 vials.

My problem is that I’m so phobic of needles, especially when they take out blood, that I go into shock. Half the time I pass out, and the other half I’ll get really, really cold and sweat profusely for about 10-15 minutes afterward.

Anyone else phobic of needles? How do you deal with stuff like this?

I don’t think this is just “impatience”, it seems to be an actual fear he has. He is 11 years old.

I’ve noticed lately that i can go swimming but only if the water is not dark, Like if im in a swimming pool at a leisure centre i cannot swim to parts that look dark. I do not like the thought of not being able to see whats under me or around me in dark water. Whats this phobia called?

I have a wonderful home with lots of unused garden space, and I would love to garden. I’ve never been able to do it because of my fear of spiders, but I think I’d be good at it. How can I deal with this and overcome it? I know spiders are out there because I’ve seen them on the rare ocassions I’ve ventured in the garden beds.
