I read that this is the only fear that seems to be genetic in females and NOT due to conditioning. Anyone know why? Men do not seem to have it.

Most Females are afraid of reptiles but it has to have at least one or two men who are afraid of reptiles…

I dont like snakes, because they slither along so fast. I think that is what does it for me the swaying back and forth, and the forked tongue.

i am afraid of reptiles because they are unpredictable. why are men not answering this question? maybe they are afraid of women????? and if they are why????

What I have read is that all humans have an inborn fear of snakes. I personally am not afraid of snakes and used to keep them as pets when I was younger, but I came across more than a few men who wouldn’t touch my snakes.

not all women are afraid of reptiles. several may be but i used to keep snakes and lizards as pets when i was younger. i would have them now but i cant. i find snakes very intriguing actually, they are very relaxing to just sit back and watch.
