WHy to we inhibit these phobias of such small insects ? and is there a way to overcome them ?

Its simple to some people to be afraid of something so small but to me, its not! I go into a panic if i even SEE one.

I have a bad case of arachnophobia. Sure, crabs have no relation to spiders, but tell that to my deep, irrational fear. Talking helped calm me down, and insulting the crabs actually made them less scary.

Please don’t suggest I research them or something – I am totally aware of the fact that most spiders are harmless, so that isn’t what I am afraid of.
